Sublimation Printing: Why It Matters

Most modern sports team jerseys use sublimation printing instead of screen printing or heat transfer, and the difference matters more than people realize. Sublimation dyes the ink directly into the fibers of the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, which means the design won’t crack, peel, or fade — even after dozens of washes and seasons of heavy wear.

It also allows unlimited colors and full-jersey graphics, so gradients, patterns, and complex team logos print exactly as designed instead of being limited to a few flat colors.
